Photo of the Week

Our photo collage of the week, in case you missed the announcement, shows the winners of our 2021 Downtown Scarecrows contest! Thank you to everyone who created a scarecrow and everyone who voted. This year’s entries were beautiful!

The top three non-profits/schools, based on online voting, were, from top down left column, Rise Dance Studio, Allegro Dance Academy, and Gate City Charter School for the Arts. Our business winners were Healthy Perspectives, Lovering Volvo, and Lucky Dog Thrift Shop.
We’re now moving on to our other fall holiday contests – Nom Nom November and Dazzling December! Our Kids’ Cookie Contest is live now; details below. Our holiday lighting contest will begin after Thanksgiving. And remember: Plaid Friday is our local version of Black Friday, where we shop downtown and support our small business owners.
Details will be updated for 2021’s Plaid Friday and Dazzling December in the next week or so – stay tuned!
