Nashua Trick or Treat night
6–8 pm Sunday, Oct. 31
Trick or treat is ON in 2021!
The City of Nashua will go forward with its annual trick-or-treating hours on Halloween night, from 6–8 pm Sunday, Oct. 31.
Everyone is asked to abide by guidelines put forth by the City of Nashua’s Department of Public Health and Community Services, in an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
If you are sick or you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, you should NOT participate in Halloween activities in-person and should NOT give out candy to trick-or-treaters.

Nashua Public Library seeks artists
Apply through Saturday, Oct. 31
After a long unanticipated break, the Nashua Public Library is calling for artists to show in its gallery in 2022. Artists will exhibit their work for two months and can host a public reception.
Read their Gallery Guidelines HERE. Interested artists can fill out an application online HERE.
Applications will be accepted until October 31, 2021.
Artists will be notified by November 15, 2021, about the the status of their application. Selection will be by a committee of library staff.

You can vote for multiple scarecrows every day, but only once per ‘crow, per day.
As terrific as they look on our contest page, they are even more spectacular – or is that spooktacular? – up close and in-person! Your social media photos of your selfies with them are worth even more points for them! Be sure to set them the Public, and use the hashtag #DowntownScarecrows

An Evening of Black Renaissance
6–10 pm Friday, Nov. 5
Black Lives Matter Nashua will host an evening of music and art from the Jazz era, as well as dinner, at a Nov. 5 event being held at the historic Hunt Memorial Library, 6 Main Street.
An Evening of Black Renaissance will include speakers and performers. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm, and will be catered by Soel Sistas.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to fund Black Lives Matter Nashua’s Mutual Aid program and Holiday toy/book/food drives.

Nashua Senior Activity Center, at 70 Temple Street, invites you to explore their annual indoor flea market on Saturday, Nov. 6.

The market will showcase more than 30 vendors selling new and used merchandise, a book sale, a “fill-a-bag for $5” offer (on clothing only) at the Thrift Shop, a raffle and much more.
Come on down to the Center and find some great deals. Plenty of free parking in the Nashua Senior Center lot.
