About Great American Downtown
Mission Statement: to provide coordination, collaboration and partnerships that unify the entire Nashua community around a common vision for an attractive downtown that is vibrant, viable and truly reflects the character of our city.
Who we are and what we do
Established in July 2002, Great American Downtown (GAD) was created to develop and implement programs, projects and events that promote downtown Nashua as a destination for shopping, dining, business services, arts and culture, and as a residential community.
Our office is led by a board of directors who represent the many constituents of downtown. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit staffed by three employees and supported by volunteers throughout the year.
