Great American Downtown’s Executive Director Paul Shea is a tireless advocate for our city, always striving to create and promote vibrancy in our Downtown Nashua community. As he “turns the odometer” again this weekend, he’s asking us to help him continue that work. Paul has set up a birthday fundraiser to support live music and our struggling local musicians, as we head into a new year and begin our event planning with hopeful hearts. If you have a few dollars to share to our nonprofit, we will pass it on to our fine local musicians as we prepare safe and fun events big and small in 2021. | | Starts this weekend! United Way presents virtual running event Begins Saturday, Jan. 30 The United Way of Greater Nashua will hold a virtual Blizzard Blast this year. Starting January 30 and running for a full week, you can complete a 5k, 10k, or half-marathon course with challenges along the way. Runners will check-in and start at the United Way of Greater Nashua and will run a course that stops at various locations in the city for the challenges. The challenges will range from burpees, pushups, army crawls, and much more! All money raised will go to the United Way COVID Response Fund, so donât miss out on running, sponsoring, or donating to Blizzard Blast 2021.
