Dear Friends,
This past Saturday marked the anniversary of NH’s Stay at Home Order. We’ve faced many challenges, and lost loved ones since then. We’ve also responded as individuals and collectively to the crisis in a way that we can truly be proud of. During this past year, we have seen great strength, resilience, and grit on display in our community.
Thank you to every one of you for what you’ve done to hold it all together. May the year ahead bring opportunity, revival, a return to normalcy, and them some â marked with a knowing sense of gratitude for what we have, and what we’ve made it through together.
Sincerely yours,
Paul Shea

Demolition of former Alec’s Shoe Store
slated to begin Monday, April 5
The Nashua Performing Arts Center project, which will reside at 201 Main Street, is tentatively slated to begin demolition of the existing building on Monday, April 5.
In advance of that event, construction fences and work zone barriers will be erected surrounding the building, which sits at the corner of Main and West Pearl. This will delineate the construction area for the safety of downtown pedestrians. The sidewalk surrounding the building on its two sides will be off-limits to those not involved in construction.

City of Nashua, Currier Museum form partnership
for participatory art project
The Currier Museum of Art and the City of Nashua are pleased to announce an inaugural collaboration on a community-centered art project. Titled Creative Union, the project highlights Nashuaâs diverse community, rich history, and vital spirit.
Creative Union is the vision of Elisa H. Hamilton, a socially engaged multimedia artist who creates inclusive artworks that emphasize shared spaces. Throughout the summer of 2021, Hamilton will lead workshops that celebrate the community through collaborative artmaking. Participants will create decorations and paper sculptures that reflect their spirit and ideas.
âShared creativity is such a powerful community asset,â the artist says. âIâm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the Nashua community to create this special project.â
Check out the project details, and learn how to participate!
