TUNE IN FOR LIVE MUSIC, FROM YOUR COUCH!

Symphony NH presents Soul City Collective
virtually from Riverwalk Cafe
7:30 pm Thursday
Symphony NH continues teaming up with Riverwalk Cafe, to bring the live music experience to you in a safe and convenient way.
Tune in Thursday evening to get a taste of Soul CityThe parent band, Soul City, is an 11-piece ensemble combined of rhythm section, horns, and vocalists whose motto is:“You will dance. Resistance is futile.”

Due to Covid restrictions, only five members from Soul City (drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and saxophone) will be performing as the Soul City collective in a jazz quintet setting. But don’t you dare think that with less people, they will be bringing any less energy!

This is an exciting opportunity to discover and support local musical groups in a safe environment for all.

Tickets are $15. Purchase by clicking the button!

SHINING A LIGHT ON NONPROFIT VOLUNTEERS

Nominations being accepted for Gate City Light Award;
deadline for submission is next Friday
Nashua has many nonprofits and community service organizations that are always hard at work caring for our community. They run on volunteers and it’s the time, dedication and passion of these volunteers that makes these agencies successful. We can never thank these volunteers enough, but we can find ways to recognize them for their excellence, like nominating them for the annual Gate City Light Award.
The Mayor’s Volunteer Recognition Committee bestows upon an organization and its volunteers the Gate City Light Award for giving their time in the spirit of community, caring and for making significant contributions to the people of Nashua.
Nominations for the 2021 award are now being accepted. To fill out the form, by clicking the button below; deadline to submit applications is Friday, April 2.
The 2021 award recipient will be notified during National Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 18–24.
For more information or if you have a question, contact Terri McGrew at [email protected].

TANGLED ROOTS’ ENERGY WORK CLASS

Tangled Roots wants to light your fire!
Energy work class
6 pm Monday, March 29
Tangled Roots Herbal, at 95 W. Pearl St., invites you to learn about energy work, and to check out their beautiful new candles!
A Witch’s Guide to Energy Work
Energy work – the ability to sense and manipulate the unseen forces that drive our world – is the basis for most other techniques and practices you will come across in the spiritual, new age world. Yet, despite its importance, this set of skills is so often watered down to simply healing, or even overlooked completely. A person could have the best, most expensive tools around, and those tools won’t do a thing if the practitioner doesn’t have the will to make it happen.
This class will teach the foundation of working with metaphysical energy in a way that’s easy, accessible, and applicable to a number of different practices and traditions, with a particular focus on manifestation and spellcraft. By the end, you’ll walk away with specific exercises and activities to develop your energetic senses, along with a guidebook filled with information, tips, and tricks to further your practice.
Workshop is $35. REGISTER HERE!
