Tune in Thursday evening to get a taste of Soul City! The parent band, Soul City, is an 11-piece ensemble combined of rhythm section, horns, and vocalists whose motto is:“You will dance. Resistance is futile.”Due to Covid restrictions, only five members from Soul City (drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and saxophone) will be performing as the Soul City collective in a jazz quintet setting. The Mayorâs Volunteer Recognition Committee bestows upon an organization and its volunteers the Gate City Light Award for giving their time in the spirit of community, caring and for making significant contributions to the people of Nashua.
