Photo of the Week

Brrrrr! We’ve had some very cold weather in recent weeks, and the Nashua River, above the Jackson Falls Hydroelectric Dam is starting to ice over! Our photo of the week was sent by Dorothy, who captured the ice floes forming from here vantage at Clocktower Place Apartments. There is always something interesting to explore along the Nashua River throughout the year, thanks to Dorothy for sharing her view with us!

How Can The Arts Make Nashua More Vibrant?
The Nashua Arts Commission is seeking public feedback, and is hosting a meeting on January 24th at 7pm. Every 5 years, the City of Nashua updates the city Arts and Culture Plan – this is a great opportunity to provide feedback, and be a part of driving the future of the arts here in the Gate City! You will find the zoom link here for that date and time, and a link to the Facebook event below! We hope you’ll join in!

Become A Nature Detective in Nashua Parks!

Nashua families with children ages 6 and up are invited to explore local parks at Nature Detectives, a free program offered by the Nashua Public Library and the Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA).

Each month, led by NRWA naturalists, the group will set out on a new adventure, exploring the nature and history of the sites and completing a sleuth sheet while they search for clues.

The group will meet from January to May,
investigating a new topic each month:
