Photo of the Week

Our photo of the week is this super-cool wide-angle shot captured by Craig Michaud Photography, from the roof of the Masonic Building in Downtown Nashua. It shows the site of the future Nashua Performing Arts Center. Craig intends to take a photo once a month to show the evolving progress. Great idea!
ICYMI: Be sure to check out 2 months of demolition on YouTube here, in just 75 seconds with our time-lapse video. Stay tuned for part two, with a full time lapse of construction, to be published next fall!

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: THE CRAFTY CLUBHOUSE!

The Crafty Clubhouse
kids’ craft projects
Nashua Farmers Market
10 am–2 pm Sundays

Kids of all ages are invited to sit with Pat Silva at her crafting table, to do a make-and-take activity while parents shop the farmers market. Pat will offer a new project each week, so there’s always something fun going on! It’s free to participate!
“I have always found arts and crafts to be calming and I enjoy spending time with young folks,” Pat says. “I retired as a secretary after 24 years at Elm Street Middle School, and am a lifetime member of the Nashua Area Artists’ Association, so bringing kids and art together was a natural. When I heard about the Kindness Rock’s project, I just knew I had to introduce that to the kids, also. Paul Shea’s generosity with helping fund the project made it a reality for the Farmer’s Market.”
We are so pleased to have Pat back again! Some of you might remember her table at our indoor winter market at the old Alec’s Shoe Store in 2019. Check out The Crafty Clubhouse on Facebook, and stop by and see what’s happening each Sunday!
