NEXT WEEKEND! LET’S DANCE!

The City of Nashua and Great American Downtown present three outdoor dancing events!
Latin, Big Band and German Oompah music
Dust off those dancing shoes! Since 2016, families, friends and neighbors have gathered in the closed-off street in front of City Hall – and now, in the parking lot at beautiful Renaissance Park – to dance the warm summer night away! Attendees enjoy free lessons from local dance instructors, music fills the air, and all are invited to DANCE!
Due to popular demand, we’ve put together THREE great events this year! Each event will focus on a specific cultural style of dance. Instructors will be there to show you the basics for an hour; then our guest musicians will heat up the night with two 45-minute sets:
July 30: Latin night – Beantown Social Club
Aug. 20: Big Band night – Dan Gable and the Abletones
Oct. 16: Oompah in the Park – Wunder Kapelle
July 30th & August 20th events will be held from 7–10 pm, at Renaissance Park on Water Street, in Downtown Nashua. Grab your friends and mark your calendar!

THURSDAY: LET’S MAKE ART TOGETHER!

Creative Union’s community-centered art project

4:30–7 pm Thursday, July 22

Creative Union is a community-centered art project conceived by multimedia artist Elisa Hamilton and organized by the Currier Museum of Art in partnership with the City of Nashua.

Join them for a hands-on creative workshop at Arlington Street Community Center, at 36 Arlington Street.

Come together with fellow community members to create festive paper sculptures and handmade decorations that will become part of a joyful community celebration in downtown Nashua this October.

This workshop is FREE, open to all, and fun for all ages!

This project is made possible by The Currier Museum Nashua Endowment and the generous support of the City of Nashua.

SATURDAY: ONLINE CLASS FROM TANGLED ROOTS

Embrace Your Inner Empath
3 pm Saturday
Tangled Roots Herbal, 95 W. Pearl Street, invites you to this online class designed to embrace and enhance your inner empath.
Feeling like you understand or feel emotions and experiences of others like they’re your own? Have people always referred to you as over-emotional or too sensitive? And are you overwhelmed by all of these feels?

This online class is for people who are empathic; they feel others’ emotions and sometimes even experiences as their own. We’ll create a safe space in which you’ll come to understand what it means to be an empath, and we will teach you specific tools and techniques on how to harness your energies and how to control and protect yourself from that feeling of “overwhelm.” Our goal is to transform these feelings into the wonderful gift it is to be an empath!

The class is $25. CLICK HERE to REGISTER
