Dear –FNAME–,
As we work to adjust programming for this summer, we’re really grateful to be preparing to present the Nashua Farmers Market starting on June 21st. We’re especially grateful for your support. This week, we exceeded our goal for small donations to support the Nashua Farmers Market! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed – in a time where sponsorships are a major challenge to bring in to support our programs – we rest assured that our community will step up to help us with the lift – and make great things happen that support our quality of life. That’s what community is all about, working together to support one another success, and to make all of our lives better. So, thank you!
We’re also very pleased to share with you that another program that we are a part of producing will still be taking place this year, albeit adjusted in response to the times. This year will be the third annual Nashua Pride! With this event attracting over 3,000 people to celebrate and affirm each June, it is simply not possible to hold the parade and festival in a socially distanced way – but we’re still looking forward to connecting with you for 2020’s Virtual Nashua Pride Event. This event will feature performances, a drag show, speakers and more – and be streamed live on June 21st! Nashua will still have Pride this year, and we’re exited to be a part of it! Stay tuned!
Last, and most certainly not least – I’d like to recognize those who have served in the US Military, and lost their lives. Our country, our way of life, and our liberty would not be possible if not for those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country. Each year, Nashua does an incredible job presenting a Memorial Day parade and we gather along Main Street to remember those who have served. This year, it simply is not possible to conduct the Memorial Day Parade and gather along Main Street as we do in a safe and healthy manner – but that leaves us with no less gratitude for their solemn oath and great sacrifice. Thank you especially to the families who survive our lost service men and women, for living with the loss of a loved one is an enduring pain – and we owe them our deepest gratitude. If you are out for a drive, walk, or bike ride this weekend, consider taking the Broad Street Parkway to check out over 40 newly installed banners along the parkway, placed in recognition of community members who have served.
We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy the weather this weekend, we all deserve a little rest and sunshine,
Executive Director Great American Downtown

Monday marked the reopening of many restaurants and shops in Downtown Nashua. As they endeavor to provide their best service to you with increased awareness of social distancing and sanitation measures, please consider patronizing these locally owned businesses and show them we’re here to help them recover.
READ OUR BLOG HERE to see a list of stores and restaurants who advised us of their business hours as of press-time. We’ll continue to update it, so stop by again if you’re looking for a specific vendor.
Please respect our friends and neighbors in food service and retail by adhering to safety precautions and posted rules (you may see the signs below posted around town). These temporary inconveniences are far outweighed by the benefits for our economy and the health of the community. THANK YOU!

Brewery of the Week!
Downtown Nashua is home to some fantastic breweries, most of which are still up and running to keep those pint glasses at home full. This week, we’re featuring Martha’s Exchange Restaurant & Brewery!
A downtown landmark since it opened in 1936 as Martha’s Sweet Shoppe, the family-owned business at 185 Main Street has evolved into a restaurant and craft brewery â in fact, Nashuaâs first and only micro-brewery at the time. The Fokas family and their staff invite you to join them for outdoor dining from noonâ8 pm this week, weather permitting.
Takeout and delivery can be called in at (603) 883-8781 for pick-up during special social distancing hours:
