| | 17th annual ArtWeek, KidsWeek Oct. 16â24 Due to the ongoing pandemic, City Arts Nashua is again featuring a virtual ArtWeek and KidsWeek. With a variety of quality arts-related programming, the weeklong celebration of the arts helps Nashuaâs creative community reach an even larger audience, via social media connections and shared programming to be offered from Saturday, Oct. 16 through Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. In this way, City Arts Nashua hopes to engage a broad audience in a format that allows people to tune in from anywhere, at their comfort level. ArtWeek kicks off by exploring the art scene in the Nashua area, letting you meet local artists and performers via video footage. | | Grow Nashua seeks fall garden close-out helpers! Grow Nashua invites you to lend a hand cleaning up this fall at one of its seven school and urban garden sites! Each year, Grow Nashua members and volunteers finish up the season with the important step of closing down the school and urban community gardens. It is important to remove old debris and cover the soil, to keep the gardens healthy and happy for the gardeners the following season. Activities include trimming back dead plants, raking up debris, weeding, adding some soil amendments, and spot mulching worn areas. No experience necessary and all ages welcome!
