The Downtowner
Your Source For All Things … Social Distancing!

We’re working with the City of Nashua and the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce to connect businesses with resources and information during this challenging time. If you are a representative of a Downtown business or organization, and have not been receiving our updates this week – please let us know right away and we will work to keep you in the loop on future communications.

Each week The Downtowner has featured a variety of
events happening in Downtown Nashua. Now we’re here to help you endure Operation Social Distancing!

With all of this great spring weather headed our way for the weekend, it’s a good time to get out for a walk and some sunshine along Nashua’s Heritage Rail Trail, at Mines Falls Park, or the Nashua Riverwalk! This is a great way to beat cabin fever, while still practicing social distancing.
Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from fellow explorers, and avoid direct contact, like handshakes and high fives with friends you might see out, when possible. For more on what social distancing is all about, check out this great article from The Atlantic – and for more information and resources, visit the Nashua Public Health website here

Right now – we’re working on a self guided audio tour of Nashua’s public art, which will launch this spring! Will you consider making a donation here, to help us develop the tour – and provide a free, fun, and healthy way to get to know Nashua’s public art?

Photo of the Week

Our photo of the week was captured by Patrick Morrison

Patrick writes: “This Skuller was seen on the river this morning, 3/24. Notice that he is keeping his distance, and getting exercise at the same time. Stay well and we look forward to seeing you at the Farm Market in the Summer!”
Do you have some great pictures of our vibrant Downtown you’d like to show off? Post them to our Facebook page, or send them to us by email! We love to share images that capture the beauty and excitement of Downtown Nashua.
