AirPower History Tour comes to Nashua
June 23–27
For five days in June, you can experience WWII aircraft right here in Nashua! From 9 am–5 pm, June 23–27, bring the family to Boire Field Airport and discover the AirPower History Tour!
The sights, sounds, and stories of World War II aviation will come to life in Nashua when the B-29 Superfortress “FIFI” and the B-24 Liberator “DIAMOND LIL” land at Boire Field Airport, accompanied by a T-6 Texan and a PT-13 Stearman. The P-51 Mustang â€œGunfighter” will also be making an appearance.
The event is presented by the Commemorative Air Force, which brings its AirPower History Tour to airports across North America each year.
Visitors will be able to view all aircraft up close, purchase rides, and tour the B-29 and B-24 cockpits when the aircraft are not flying.
Tickets are $20 adults, $10 youth 10-17, and free for ages 9 and younger. Purchase tickets at the event. You can learn more and book a ride on these magnificent craft by clicking below!

Job Interview Workshops, June 17 and 24
Summer Reading Program, begins June 19
Job Interview Workshops
Register HERE to get invitations to these Nashua Public Library Zoom events. You may sign up for one or both sessions.
7 pm Thursday, June 17: Tips for a Successful Virtual Interview: In this interactive workshop, Gary Gekow will build up your confidence as you learn how to select a location, create ideal conditions, dress appropriately, and understand body language. Gary will also provide an overview of virtual-interviewing technology.
7 pm Thursday, June 24: In-Person Interview Preparation: In this interactive, informal Q&A session, we’ll go over typical interview questions and role-play how best to answer them. You’ll also learn to avoid common interview mistakes that job candidates make.
Win prizes in summer reading challenge
No matter how old you are, you can join a Nashua Public Library summer reading program. Challenge yourself to earn raffle tickets and prizes as you read. The more time you spend reading, the more chances you have to win prizes!
“Children who don’t read during summer vacation fall behind when school starts in the fall,” said Assistant Library Director Jenn Hosking. “This decline in their reading abilities increases as they get older. The library wants to help parents maintain their children’s skills by motivating kids to read every day.” Summer reading programs do just that. And because they’re available for all ages, they make reading a family affair.
How to participate: Starting Saturday, log the amount of time you read HERE  or by downloading the Beanstack app.
Questions? Call 603-589-4600 or email [email protected].
