Photo of the Week

Our photo of the week shows the Nashua PAL building on Ash Street getting solar energy panels installed on its rooftop Wednesday. The project was achieved thanks to generous donors and ReVision Energy.

Building on Hope is revamping the entire interior to better serve the children of Nashua; you can read more about the project HERE.
One contributor to that project is Great American Downtown’s program coordinator, Jenn Annand! The other “hat” she wears is incredible designer for Expert Design Solutions. Here she is visiting the job site; only Jenn looks this good among construction and sawdust!

Do you have some great pictures of our vibrant Downtown you’d like to show off? Post them to our Facebook page, or send them to us by email! We love to share images that capture the beauty and excitement of Downtown Nashua.

YOUR INPUT WANTED!
Heritage Rail Trail East project online discussion
6 pm Tuesday, Sept. 22
The Community Development Division City of Nashua NH invites you to a discussion during a virtual public meeting concerning the City’s Heritage Rail Trail East project.
The project:
The City of Nashua was awarded a NH Department of Transportation grant to design and construct the Heritage Rail Trail East, which will extend from Main Street (where the Heritage Rail Trail West ends) to Denton Street, near the future rail station at 25 Crown Street.
More project details on the City’s website HERE.
How you can be involved:
Several alternatives have been developed based on input heard from residents and business owners at the first listening session held last October. The City is hosting a virtual meeting to get your feedback on the proposed alternatives for the trail.
Be part of the conversation! Join the Zoom meeting HERE at 6 pm next Tuesday.
For more information, you can contact the CDD at (603) 589-3000.
