30th Anniversary
Winter Stroll

About us
Since stepping into my role as Executive Director of Great American Downtown in June, I’ve been both honored and inspired to carry forward one of Nashua’s most beloved traditions — the Winter Stroll. For years, I’ve experienced this event from the other side of the stage, performing with my bands, and volunteering among the crowds. So it is especially meaningful to now help lead it in this new capacity.
Community is at the heart of everything we do at Great American Downtown. Events like the Winter Stroll remind us of the power of shared experiences. How they bring us together, strengthen local pride, and create lasting memories for families and friends year after year. These traditions are the soul of our city, and it’s our privilege to help keep them thriving.
This year marks the 30th Annual Winter Stroll. While we’ll continue to celebrate the moments and memories that make this event so special, we’re also ushering in a new era for GAD and the Stroll itself with exciting new attractions and enhancements that honor our past while looking toward the future.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for supporting the work that keeps Downtown Nashua vibrant, welcoming, and full of life.

Holiday Stroll Performance Schedule
Santa Claus is Coming to Town!
Per tradition, Santa will lead the Winter Holiday Stroll down Main Street and join our Mayor in the big countdown to the lighting of the City Christmas tree. This year, Santa asked a very special guest to drive him to the tree.
Kids of all ages are always excited to see Mr. and Mrs. Claus, as they stop in for their annual visit to Downtown Nashua. When you go, be sure to stop by and say hello, and don’t forget to bring your Santa letter along to drop in the mailbox, to be delivered directly to the North Pole.
