Delightful shops & public art abound, to satisfy the curious explorer inside, who has been patiently waiting to come out to play for some time now 🙂 Be sure to check out the Distrx app for a self guided audio tour, with back stories on some of our amazing sculpture and murals. The round trip provides about 90 minutes of fun and fascination.
Artists at Work! Stop by the Picker Artist Gallery at 3 Pine Street from 9am-6pm, where sculptors for this year’s Nashua International Sculpture Symposium will be putting the final touches on the newest pieces of public art for the program. While you’re there, stop into the studios to check out some of the great work the Picker Artists have on display and for sale.
Live music will fill the air throughout the Downtown from 2-5pm and then from 6-9pm at several locations around Main Street and the Riverwalk, to entertain you as you stroll your way through the afternoon and evening. Featuring the Alex Minasian Trio, Delta Jazz, Ze Ivan, Nick Goumas Trio, Humans Being, The New Englanders & More!

The most amazing part of the day? The Nashua River Light Parade, organized by the Nashua Area Kayak Exploration Destinations (N.A.K.E.D.) group. It starts shortly after 8pm – with as many as 100 kayaks and other people powered boats expected, all decked out in festive lights and cruising the Nashua River, creating quite the spectacle! There’s great viewing from all sides of the Riverwalk, and the Main Street Bridge.

See you Downtown!
