Here at Great American Downtown we believe everyone should Eat, Shop and Live Local. We also feel a great way to get alot people downtown for just that is to offer live music. The GAD organization has always been strongly focused on the arts, community and promoting downtown commerce. We have now partnered with the City of Nashua and The River Casino Sports Bar to bring you yet another spectacular free event. This September 30th we will be having what we are calling The New England Roots Festival.

After great success with our first free music event, The Nu Muse Festival staged on a closed off section of Main Street here in Nashua this past May we are ready get the juices flowing and dance in the streets again. The New England Roots Folk Festival will be a free event starting at noon and carrying through till 10pm, in addition to live music, this festival will feature food trucks, live art, interactive demonstrations, local artisanal vendors and more.

Lead Act, The Jacob Jolliff Band

There will be three stages set up for the festival with the main stage featuring artists of a diverse and high quality selection some nationally and regionally acclaimed acts featuring performances all can enjoy. On the main stage right on Main Street performances will include, The Jacob Joliff Band, The Appleseed Collective, Julie Rhodes, Bill Scorzari, Twisted Pine, Say Darling, and Young Frontier.
