#TakeoutTuesday: Railroad Square area

#TakeoutTuesday: Check out these local restaurants

We’ve been encouraging you to join in for #TakeoutTuesday, by highlighting some of our terrific local eateries in Downtown Nashua. But any day is the right day to support local businesses!

Up and down Main Street and its side streets await dozens of locally owned restaurants and breweries. Why not try somewhere new today, for lunch, dinner, or a craft beer?

As colder weather prevents us from continuing to enjoy outdoor dining in Downtown Nashua,  our locally owned restaurants and breweries would like to remind you that they are still offering takeout/curbside pickup and delivery. Please help them make it through the winter months.

Gift cards are also a great way to show our support.

Great craic (Irish for entertainment) and great food! The Peddler’s Daughter offers cozy and festive Irish vibes inside, and dining with a river view outside (seasonal). Offering across-the-pond classics like cottage pie, fried fish and chips, and bangers and mash, Ped’s menu also includes great potato variations like their spicy tots, “Irish nachos” made with kettle chips, and poutine. And don’t miss their many juicy burgers! Enjoy it all with a choice from their long list of beer, wine, specialty drinks made with Irish staples, and more.

This nonprofit, direct-trade coffee roastery gives a percentage of its profits to local and global endeavors, like their sister nonprofit, Hope and Life (read more about their projects on their website). Their cafe centers around a large fireplace and offers waffles, crepes, paninis, breakfast and lunch items. They offer their in-house roasted coffee in a wide variety of types of preparations. Stop by, order online, or get delivery through Door Dash.

Soprano’s Pizza

Soprano’s is New York style, hand-tossed pizza; they make their own dough, sauce, and mozzarella every day, and cook pizza on the stone. But their extensive menu also includes tons of appetizers, subs, pasta dinners, calzones, and more. They offer takeout, delivery, online ordering and catering.

Riverwalk Cafe
35 Railroad Square

House-roasted coffee and a friendly, relaxed vibe await you at Riverwalk Cafe. Their selection of freshly made baked goods will cause a good dilemma of which to choose – peanut butter cups that will ruin you for those mass-produced ones you love, chocolate stout cake, high-peaked muffins, breads and more. Your coffee will inspire you to purchase a freshly ground bag to bring home. Their daily lunch special wraps are warm and delicious. Stop by and enjoy!
