#TakeoutTuesday: Fine dining in the heart of Downtown Nashua

We’ve been sharing suggestions with you on where to grab-n-go your meals in Downtown Nashua. Now that we’ve done blogs grouped by proximity, we thought it might be helpful to share those names with you grouped by restaurant type.

“Michael Timothy’s” restaurant opened downtown 25 years ago; now as MT’s Local, it remains a cozy place for a fine dining experience. Locally sourced meats, produce and seafood provide sumptuous fare, and even burgers, pizza and salads are elevated to new heights. They are open for limited seating – you can also book out exclusive dining rooms for your private group of 8-16 people – or you can order online during business hours and take home.

For a tantalizing taste of Brazil, stop by and pick up something at Picanha’s! Meat lovers will find much to celebrate, but there are also incredible side dishes and desserts to explore. Across the street from MT’s Local is its sister restaurant, also owned by local chef phenom Michael Buckley, called Surf. This is the spot for passionate seafood lovers! You name it, it’s here: shrimp, crab, lobster, all kinds of locally sourced fish, in dozens of preparations. And of course, their famous “Buck A Shuck,” usually the last Wednesday of the month.
