On the Saturday nearest to Earth Day (April 22), Great American Downtown partners with the Nashua Parks & Recreation, Community Health, Nashua PAL, Gate City Community Gardens, and volunteers from the community, to make our downtown parks shine! Formerly called Nashua Pride Day, folks gather to help clean up and show pride in our city and its open spaces.

Volunteers of all skill levels are invited to join us as we clean up a winter’s worth of trash, brush, and other debris in parks, trails, and opens spaces throughout downtown Nashua. Community groups are encouraged to join in!

Volunteers meet at City Hall front steps (Heritage Rail Trail), the Nashua Public Library (Library/Riverwalk) and at the Simon Street Mine Falls Park entrance, and fan out to other areas if there is strong attendance.

All volunteers 18 and younger must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, or “two-deep” leadership from their school or organization).
