Oompah in the Park, Duck Derby
pair up for a great Saturday!
11 am – 5 pm Saturday, Oct. 16!
Oktoberfest means it’s time for OOMPAH IN THE PARK! And this year we’re having our event at the same time as Rotary’s annual Duck Derby, so it’s gonna be spec-quack-ular!
Duck Derby happens in the Nashua River, at the Main Street Bridge. Oompah in the Park will be at Renaissance Park on Water Street, right nearby.
Check out all the fun to be had, for kids and grown-ups alike!
Duck Derby info:
All kinds of family fun will start at 11 am on Main Street, including numerous art classes, exhibits and demonstrations. Enjoy local food and music.
The ducks will be launched down the water and begin racing at 2 pm. The first 3 ducks through the finish line win the race!

Noon-2 pm – first band: The Abletones Combo
2-3 pm – canned music
3–5 pm – second band: Wunder Kapelle
12:30 pm – Chicken dance for kids dance competition
1 pm – Water balloon toss
2 pm – Ducks get launched
3 pm – Stein hoisting
3:45 pm – Egg & spoon race
4:15 pm – Pretzel toss
Winners will have their pick of Downtown Nashua swag t-shirts!

11 am – Beer garden opens. Beer vendor is Bellavance Beverages.
Music performances, and duck derby viewing are free to attend. Games are free to play. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Beer sales will have regular expectations of ID and staying in designated spots.
