Local businesses open in Downtown Nashua during Social Distancing

As social distancing recommendations continue to evolve, Great American Downtown is committed to sharing interesting, entertaining, and useful content for our friends and neighbors to make the best of this challenging time. Downtown restaurants, shops and service locations are adjusting practices per CDC guidelines – but many of them are still there to help meet your needs. Help to improve our resiliency, as we weather the storm together by shopping small when and how we can.

To that end, here’s our evolving list of retail & service businesses that are open and when.
Restaurants and bars can be found on our prior blog post.

Updated as of 4:30 pm Tuesday, March 24.

If you’re a Downtown Nashua business owner or you know one, we strongly encourage you to reach out with updated information that we can share with our community.

A message from owner Jody Gage: As one of Nashua’s oldest businesses (founded in 1931), the Gage family has always been active in the Nashua community. We are Nashua natives and we love this city. The current events may, at some point, shut us down, but we will be back! However, while we are open – a flower shop is in the delivery business – so, if we can be of any assistance with a delivery or pick-up for you of anything you need, please call us and we will try to help you out! Stay safe and healthy.

A message from owner Cheryl Plunkett: Hi all! I know this is a scary and uncertain time for all of us. I want you to know I am keeping the place clean and sanitized, even the door handles. Since it is usually myself and only one or two customers at a time, I feel it is OK to be open. I know some of you may be in need of some retail therapy! New items are coming into Fresh daily. Many of the stores on this block will also remain open. Upside, there’s plenty of parking spots on Main Street. Be safe!
