We’re Growing!
 
 
Thank you to Ace Hardware and over 40 individual donors,
last month we raised over $2,000 toward expanding the
Nashua Heritage Rail Trail Community Garden!

We still have a little work to do to fully fund the project, but this generosity has us well on our way to building 12 new beds – bringing the total number of beds for our Gate City Community Gardens Program to 36 four x eight foot raised beds. 

Believe it or not, February is a great time of year to start planning for the garden season, and applications are now available! February-April is a great time to start planning your garden layout, keep an eye out for seed swaps, and start growing your seedlings indoors.

Gardening is a great way for parents to connect with kids, for and for neighbors to connect with nature!

Thank you to the Nashua Garden Club, we are able to offer a garden scholarship – so that garden space remains accessible to Nashua’s, regardless of ability to pay our $35 plot fee. If you are interested in participating in the scholarship to have your fee waived, fill out the application at the link above and reply to this email with your interest.
