A Good Friday Afternoon to You, –FNAME–!

We believe in the transformative power of community gardens, and just yesterday we launched a fundraising campaign that will help bring a beautiful pollinator habitat garden to the Nashua Heritage Rail Trail! In under 24 hours, we have already hit 85% of our overall goal – thanks to over 40 donors!

Butterflies are active during the day and feed primarily on nectar from flowers as adults. Although they cannot carry as much pollen as bees, they are important pollinators for some flowering plants.

Beetles are an extremely large and diverse group of insects and are generally less active around flowers than bees and butterflies but are important pollinators in some regions of the world.

Honey bees are social insects found all over the world. They pollinate more than 100 crops in the U.S.

Donations can be sent to “Great American Downtown, Inc, 6 Main Street, Nashua, NH 03064” with the memo “Pollinator Habitat” or can be made to help us reach our online fundraising goal via our Facebook Fundraiser here! 100% of donations will go toward the project, and if we exceed our goal – we will make this space even more expansive than already planned!
