Angel investment firm SLC Group Holdings of Nashua has committed $100,000 in support of the Nashua Performing Arts Center through a contribution and the NH CDFA Tax Credit Program, Nashua Community Arts announced recently.
“SLC Group Holdings is proud to support the development of the Nashua Performing Arts Center,” said Sandy Cleary, President. “We believe that businesses are the pillars of the community and, as such, must set an example for the growth and diversity of those communities. We look forward to seeing the Performing Arts Center contribute to the city’s economic success and cultural enrichment.”
The Nashua Performing Arts Center, to be located at 201 Main Street in the heart of Downtown Nashua, will be a flexible venue that accommodates diverse musical and theatrical performances, corporate and non-profit events, family celebrations and other private gatherings. The Performing Arts Center will seat up to 750, hold up to 1,000 standing, and offer banquet seating for 250 people.
“We are grateful to SLC Group Holdings for their commitment to the Nashua Performing Arts Center,” said Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess. “Their generous donation shows that arts are good for business as well as enhancing the quality of life for their employees and area residents.”
“We want to acknowledge SLC Group Holdings for their support to help meet our goal of starting construction in Fall of 2020,” added Rich Lannan.
